Brand Management

Managing small brands profitably
As a result of their executive experience at large companies, particularly J&J, and small companies, particularly DSE Healthcare Solutions, the DSE principals have learned that small brands can be managed more profitably in a small-company setting than in a large company. They have learned in fact that from an accounting standpoint large companies regularly understate the costs of handling their small brands. This becomes even clearer from a study on the management of small brands that DSE commissioned in 1996. In sum, it is more profitable for executives at large companies to spend their time on major brands rather than on smaller ones, and to consider divesting their smaller brands.

DSE Healthcare Solutions is actively seeking to add further small OTC, HBA and Rx brands to its roster. If you are interested in selling or divesting such brands, or in a strategic alliance or joint venture with these brands, please contact Moaiz Daya, President, DSE Healthcare Solutions.
